Had my eyesight checked at Marina Square Raffles Medical Group cos I forgot to bring my specs when I went for a body check-up 2 days ago and back to Ritz wid Shalyn, John and Leslie. Went to try uniforms. I had to try 2 times cos its too big for me. I will start wid F&B first, at Greenhouse Restaurant together wid Leslie. Shalyn will be at concierge and John, bell hop. Had lunch at Carl's Junior. Super big portion and all of us were sharing and chatting at the same time. Actually was waiting bus together wid John. Waited for half an hour and we realized that there is no bus service for that particular bus today. Made a fool of ourselves. Took mrt home wid John. As usual, alighted at Yishun and took a straight bus home. Starting work on Monday at 2.30pm. I'm still getting used. Be simple and you feel happier.

Had Tom Yum Dong Fen wid Sherlin at Lucky Plaza Rabbit. Alice came and looked for us after her lunch wid Rayner. Went to Taka. Alice and I wanted to take passport size photographs for our hotels thingy but it was too expensive. $12 for 4 pieces. Ha. Den to HMV and Orchard Central, the new shopping centre. It is not fully renovated as yet and some of the shops are not open yet. Had Carbonara and regular waffle wid 3 scoops of ice cream. Sat there and chatted for abt 3 hours. Its jus so comfortable sitting there. Talking abt hotel thingy, their previous Hong Kong trip, how we get to know each other in sch. Looking back, its has been 2 years. Yeah, we have been classmates and best friends for 2 years and now, we are going out for attachment at hotels. Den to Cactus. Its a store where you can rent and sell your things over there. Sherlin bought a pair of big bears for Alice's this year 21st birthday. Went to Robinsons. I bought a Maybelline eyeliner and Alice bought some stockings. Den back to Orchard Central Cactus. Alice bought a pair of small bears for Sherlin's this year birthday. And, Sherlin bought one big bear for my next year birthday too. The big one is $69.90 and the small one is $29.90. Mine is the Reddish Twin, the pic above. And home.

1 July 2009, Wednesday
Shalyn, John, Leslie and I went to Marina Square Raffles Medical Group for our pre-employment check-up. Urine testing, eyesight check, height and weight taking, blood pressure taking, neck and stomach check. Cabbed to Raffles hospital for x-ray. Shalyn and I were wearing the hospital shirts like Samurai. Ha. Sat there and waited for our report and cabbed back to Marina Square clinic to hand the reports to them. And to Ritz to sign letters of appointment. Home. Its a long day for all of us. Mum's off day and the whole family had dinner at opposite food court. I had my favourite curry fish head and I ate alot like 2 plates of rice.
