-B to work and study smoothly, a little lesser things to worry, enjoy life a little more, everyone around him to be happy, safe and sound, achieve his goals

Hope i will be able to keep wid it! People, start planning now. No matter how small and big goals you have, jus state it down. Jus like i wan a healthier body as i fainted recently. As long as its realistic and achieveable, there's nth to be ashamed. Its good to have dreams but mus action on it. Happy new year 2011!

Christmas eve. Back to work. Well, the whole lorong knew and asked abt me. I had no recollection and they were shocked . Really shocked! Wat they told me was that i jus lay on the floor motionless and everyone was frantically calling for ambulance, massaging my head and hands wid oil cos my hands were turning cold. Nonetheless, thank you to those whom asked abt me. On the other note, received quite a lot of Christmas pressies. Really taken aback. I will be prepared for next year season of giving:) Work ended at 3pm. No programme for today and tmr's night. Staying at home to watch tv!

Fainted in workplace toilet cubicle. Could heard voices around me but jus wouldnt open my eyes. When i woke up, im alr in Tan Tock Seng hospital along wid my 3 colleagues, mum and sis. Couldnt recall anything. The doc and nurses conducted some blood and urine tests. Was put on drip for a few hours and rest in a holding ward till the doc came and said i could be discharged. Its a scary scene. Other family members and colleagues called me after im discharged.

He's going back home on Tuesday night so wont be able to see him for abt 10 days or more. Thanks B!

Buffet lunch at MBS, The Rise wid Jacques. The spread is limited but good on a scale especially wid the right company. Ate, ate and ate. Haha. Becoming more horizontally since i cant become more vertically. Walking from end to end wid a map, jus like a tourist(even though Jacques used to work there). Hees. Was so amazed by the infrastructure and the huge shopping area.

Attended GH(B's workplace) chalet at Changi Sailing Club after work. B came to fetch me after the taxi uncle dropped me nowhere near the destination. It was a fun and wild night wid all the catching-up wid the good old colleagues and frens. Thanks Khor for inviting me. Was hesitant in going cos seems shy since i dunno all the ppl there. In a way, glad that i went.

First day of work at Shang. Reported to hr office and the personnel brought me along wid others to respective departments. Din slp well the night before. Was overwhelmed wid excitement and nervousness in holding a full-time job in a brand new environment. I hope it will be a good start.

Last Saturday, went out wid Sher and Shar to buy Honey's bd present. Was contemplating between Dunhill's card holder and Burberry's Polo. Bought him the latter. Well, was late in meeting Honey as I went to get him a bd cake(Grapefruit cake) from Breadtalk. For the past few days, went to all the cake shops in cwp but no special order for blueberry cake. And, he doesnt wan a cake but wat's bd without a cake?? I hid the cake in Burberry paper bag. Dins at Aerin for the first time wid him. Nice atmosphere and ambience to dine in. After the meal, asked him to close his eyes. Took the cake from the paper bag and took a long time cos of the scotch tape on the box. He kept asking me if im ready to show him the present. Lit up the candle and he asked why got the lighter sound. Then, I asked him to open his eyes. He was surprised cos he told me no cake for him and how did I lie through his eyes without the cake being seen. Mission completed! Asked him to open his present and apparently he liked it very much. Aftermath, he took night transport back to his hometown for a few days:)

Honey, hope you have a wonderful bd and is it one of your goals too? Happy 21st bd! Come back safely.

Haven been updating for quite some time. Everything is as usual and good. Got a temp job as sales administrator at Fullerton recommended by Sharlene and ending tis Friday. It was a good learning experience. Got to find another job soon.

On a side note, Bf's 21st bd next week. No extravagant fare but jus a simple day out wid him. Happyness comes from the heart. Simple is joy. Joy is in the simplest things if you look hard. I din crack my brain and use up my brain juice, jus wan to give him a memorable bd before he goes home for a few days. *yawns, going to sleep now.

National Day dinner at Mandarin Orchard wid Ah gong and family

Dinner at Mandarin Orchard was good especially together wid the dearest ones. A rare get-together for all of us. After the dinner, met honey at Somerset mrt to rush for the last show screening for The Inception at cwp but cant make it so went home instead.

Met up wid Sher at Amk station and we took bus to Alice's house. Her bro drove us to Nissan company to get her car and waited there for quite long. Alice drove us down to MS to meet Shar for dinner at Sukiya and k-boxing session. Thanks Alice for driving me to Amk mrt to catch the train home.

While changing halfway, there was a knock on the door. Open the door and there's no one. Honey popped out and surprised me. He bought some snacks and starters to help me change my room light as it was fused. The prob does not lies wid the starter but the bulb so he went out to buy. It's his first time changing the light bulb. Really appreciate that he rushed over after his JB trip, jus to change my light bulb. Not only that, he bought me a new black ear piece. After that, parted ways at cwp as he's gg out for dinner wid his ex-colleagues and Im meeting the usuals for dinner at MS.

Met up wid Sher and Alice for Shar's present hunting. Walked ion to wisma but to no avail. Settled at Rabbit for lunch. After lunch, back to Ion den to Taka. Managed to buy a big Snoopy card and we wrote down our wishes for her. Alice went off den the both of us continued to hunt. Walked till our legs gg to break, we had dinner at Ajisen. Not wanting to move after the dinner but no choice, we have to buy the present no matter wat since we are alr out. And, we got her a Puma bag after much hesitation and decision.

A day out wid honey and loves

Went out wid honey before his class. Collect tickets for Ip Man, The Legend at Cineleisure before having lunch at food court. Saw the trailer 'The Expendables' which star my idol, Jason Statham and I got so excited about it. Im going to catch it next month. Early dinner after the movie near his school and Starbucks ice latte. After that, meet Carol, Zheng ying, Meiteng and Serene at Taka for Seok Cheng's belated present hunting. Den to Ion, bought bubble tea and settle down somewhere for a chat. Decided to watch 'Hot Tub Time Machine' and we bought tickets at Causeway Point before we went Meiteng's house as she want to change. She drove us to Seok Cheng's house to pass her the present and we asked her along to the movie. Aftermath, we went to Yishun for tau huay but it was closed so went home instead.

Brought brothers out for Toy Story 3 movie at cwp. As it was Youth Day, the tickets counter were packed wid students. Standing amongst them, I felt I was one of them too. Hees. Finally got the tickets for 12.45pm after half an hour queue. Guess wat?

We will sit at the second front row. But nonetheless, the show was good. Remind me of my childhood times. All of a sudden, I miss my grandparents.

3 more days in reservations and I'm done wid my attachment. Im always asked wats my plan after attachment and seriously, I have no idea. Probably taking 2-3 weeks break first to write my report and hopefully to start on my new job. Many a times, different thoughts surfaced and makes me real moody. And, my fan died on me the second time for the day. It has stopped moving and dunno how long will it takes to move again. Shall buy a new one when pay comes in.

On another note, dunno when Honey will be back on his ipoh trip and I miss him! I miss having breakfast wid him before going work together.

My fan is pronounced dead at 2.13am.

Happy 3 months to Honey!
Had chic rice and cockles wid beansprouts at amk S11 food centre before taking bus to zoo. Yeah, its Honey's first time to zoo. The weather was nice till it started to rain. Was forced to shorten our trip and bought ponchos. Dinner wid Honey and mum opp my house.

1 June & 2 June 2010, Tuesday & Wednesday
Cleaned 2 rooms myself. Took abt 3 hours in total. After that, followed aunty Yoke Kiew to vacuum the guests' corridor. Went home after work and packed bags to attend GH chalet. Waited honey to finish work and took arranged transport there(Changi chalet ferry point bungalow 1). Eat, drink, take pics, chat and play poker. Slept at 3plus before waking up at 5 plus for work again. Thoughtful honey asked me to put on his jacket before gg to work as it was cold.
Insufficient slp make me walk like a zombie. Luckily was doing store today so was able to rest in between. Fell aslp most of the time when I was sitting down to get a rest.

Working in housekeeping make me more prone to falling asleep easily especially after dinner at home. Its jus like the immediate effect when you take cough syrup. Yup, its that fast! Attached to a experienced room attendant. Was making beds the whole day. Its my second day and she said Im making a little improvement. Any idea how heavy is the bed? Heavy enuff to cause a bruise in between my knuckles when I tuck the bedsheets in.

Honey surprised me at my doorstep. I felt sth is amiss when he asked me a lot of questions since morning. Collect Ip Man 2 tickets at Cineleisure counter and quick lunch at Hong Kong cafe. After the movie, bought tickets for Ice Kacang Puppy Love and laze at Old Town Coffee cafe. Aftermath, Queensway and dinner at Redhill market.

Buffet breakfast at the restaurant, walked and explored a little after breakfast, took pics of the spectacular view and honey took pics of me sneakily, as usual. Both of us played on the swing. Its a place where you can let your hair down, relax and not think of anything. Checked out at 1pm and board ferry back to Sing. Dinner at his house nearby before home.

Had a half day tour before gg to KTM resort. Dinner at the restaurant over there after a nice bath. Its really peaceful when you hear the waves hitting the rocks.

Surprised me wid a bowl of 豆花while Im having lunch at hardwork. The nice alterations aunty helped me to change my uniform button. Sometimes all these small things really made my day and work enjoyable:) Waited for me to finish work and dinner at Xin Wang Cafe.

Cny visitation at Jasmin's house after work. A mini gathering for the sec sch mates. Shared a packet of nasi lemak wid Zheng ying. Won some money in blackjack. Shared cab wid Zheng ying and Yan Zhi. Was locked outside the door cos the main door ledge was hooked on, unlucky can I be. A kind neighbour helped to call locksmith and a fierce neighbour came forward to scold me cos I was banging on the door in the middle of the night. It took one hour for the locksmith to come and was amazed that he got his way of opening the door and now, my main door ledge is spoilt.

Off day. Went back Ritz for learning associates feedback session. Lunch/early dinner at Suki-ya wid Sherlin and Sharlene. Watched Tooth Fairy and its n.i.c.e. Its good to have dreams and believe in them. Suddenly I thought of this quote-Good, better, best. Never let it rest until good becomes better and better, best. How true it is. Keep trying until we are on the right track. When you see the end results, you know everything is worthwhile:) After the movie, chilled out at Esplanade. Not wanting to go home early and we walked from Esplanade to Clarke Quay. Starbucks drinks to accompany us through the journey home in a cab. Thats how life should be. Second day at Front Desk. Was guided by Sandy and she was teaching me stuffs abt being a room controller. There's so many things to learn and Im glad she taught me patiently. Went down to The Regent Hotel in a limo cab and make some purchases, yes, in my front desk uniform. Was so flattered cos the bell hop helped me flag a cab and open the door upon departing and arriving. Really so drained out after 6 months plus of working. Off day. Met up wid Sherlin at Cityhall mrt station. Saw a familiar back while waiting for Sherlin. Lunch at Suki-ya wid Sin yi, Sharlene, Sherlin and Zhiting(Sharlene doing spilt shift and Zhiting starting work at 7pm). After that, the girls went to have ice cream at Anderson's ice cream. Actually wanted to go drinking wid Chiyin and her soon to be bf or gg to Cineleisure to watch midnight movie but dropped both the ideas. Sorry chiyin. Went over to Conrad The Terrace to chill out. Drink, chatted and eat some snacks. Left at 11 plus and went to Marina Square(outside mac) there to see fireworks. The ending part was spectacular. And this put a smile on my face. Walked over to Suntec convention there to board cabs but too many ppl so we went to Suntec city mall instead. Called up 3 cabs but only one came and we waited one hour plus. Was so dead tired when I reached home.

Last day of Beverage. Morning shift. Working at Greenhouse front bar. Set-up together wid May and Gobi. Didnt expect that the response for Mojito was so overwhelming. May and I made a total of 100 plus Mojito in that 3 hours of operation for Sunday Brunch. May said its probably due to me that the "business was good" and that it wasn't the same wid Leslie around. I guess its jus pure luck. Went buffet dinner at MS Suki Ya wid Ira and Biyin. Ate and gossiped. Ha. And home sweet home. Tmr is the start of Banquet and its my off day. How good is that? Will be working at Banquet for a month and in room dining 2 weeks. Till then, more updates soon.

Zheng ying's birthday. Happy birthday, my dear girl! So coincidentally that Its my off day and actually I only got one off day which is Tuesday but cos of the long working hours at Banquet bar so I got another off day. So nice huh? Met up wid Carol earlier at 2 plus and shopped for Zheng ying and Meiteng's bd presents. Couldn't find Meiteng's present(she wanted to have the Harry Potter and the half blood prince in hard book cover and we wanted to buy for her cos she like it and we know she will be reading it) at the bookstores but to no avail and we have to think of other alternatives. And, Jasmin joined us later. Wanted to buy a vintage clutch for Zheng ying and its the last display piece and the condition is not very good or the salesperson said there's more at Orchard Central and at that time, time was running out for us and we dropped the idea. Walked around Taka, Wisma and Ion, we bought a pair of black pumps for Zheng ying at Schu and a pair of Lee Cooper pumps for Meiteng. Cabbed to Sixth Avenue, Dunearn Road-The Tea Party. In cab, Carol kept one of Meiteng's pumps in her bag and mixed up Zheng ying and meiteng's pumps in a box and see if they will notice. Walked here and there and we couldn't find the shop and we called for directions. Hees. Bought two slices of cakes upon reaching and asked the waitress to serve it to us later. While the cakes were being served, we played a trick on them, asking them to eat within a minute. And so, they lost the bet but there's no forfeit. We passed them the presents and asked them to choose. They opened up and found out that either the shoes were wrongly mixed up or there was a missing shoe. Meiteng had a missing shoe and Carol came up wid a lie that she left it at her house and asked her to get it from her after the dinner. Both Zheng ying and Meiteng actually believed. Halfway thru, Carol confessed that the missing shoe was in her bag. Its a surprise afterall. Played Taboo. Imagine 15 people playing and how noisy it was? We played, laughed, took pics. Its was a great time. Took bus to Bukit Batok and trained home:) Pics will be up soon.

There was a big wooha when I first started working at Greenhouse. People from various departments came and told me that Im famous at Ritz and that everyone knew me. I was taken aback by their words. They said though Im small sized but Im able to do things which many cant(carry big oval trays full of plates and stuffs an do things double fast). Its through learning and accumulated experience that Im able to do things this way.

Alice, dun think too much. Im not in your shoes so I cant give much advice. At least there's someone watching over you and making sure that you are safe working over in his hotel. Bad days will be over soon. Jus bear wid it first. Since you had already made this decision, dun regret. Instead, look at what you have now and cherish. I know its a chore going to work now but take tis opportunity to learn more and soon, you will find things that that are not the way they are now. Dwelling on it doesnt help and only make yourself more gloomy and sad.

Morning shift. Three more days at Greenhouse restaurant before going to Beverage. Went to try the beverage uniform but I cant fit in cos too big for me so the beverage manager asked me to wear banquet uniform. Sick, was having flu and sneezing the whole day.

Carol's belated birthday celebration

Surprised Carol at her doorstep. Initially, Jasmin, Zheng ying and I reached her house first. We placed her present and cake on the floor, rung the bell and hid in a corner but no one ans. Meiteng and Serne came, Meiteng shouted postman and Carol's mum ans the door. We signalled to her and Carol's mum tricked Carol into coming out, saying there's a cat lurking around and asked her to take a look. We shouted surprise when we saw her. She was taken aback.We dressed her up wid the clothes we bought her. And, Zheng ying helped her put on make-up, so do Meiteng and Serene too. Cut the cake at her house to prevent the hassle of bringing around and afraid that the cake will melt and stuff. Ate at Thai express at Paragon and to Oosh for a drink. Yeah, flavoured virgin Margarita. Its nice. Aftermath, Carol, Meiteng and I went to St James, together wid Carol's frens. Had a fun time there even though its so squeezy. Took night rider together and yup, I reached home at abt 5am in the morning. Next oting probably on Zheng ying and Meiteng's birthdays.

Pre bd celebration for Alice cum Greenhouse chalet

Surprised Alice by hugging her behind at Cine Pastamania. Den booked a room at k box. Sitting outside Taka, Sherlin and Sharlene said they wanted to go toilet but I knew they were gg to buy a cake for Alice. They wanted to surprise Alice but Alice turned around and saw them lighting the candle. So cute lor den Alice said she pretend nth happen. Its a choco ice cream cake. So NICE. Den went singing at k box. Left at 11 plus den cabbed down to Ritz and take bus transport to Aloha Loyang Pasir Ris(Terrace pool house) for a overnight stay. Its double storey, like a normal house wid 6 rooms and each room has a toilet. Drank half vodka wid tonic, corona and heineken. Yes, my colleagues threw me into the pool, twice! And I fell aslp on the bench in my wet clothes. Someone gave me a towel. And changed into a new set of clothes and slp in the room.

Uniform for helping out at Chihuly Lounge

Was supposed to work at 4pm at Greenhouse restaurant but last min call to report work at Chihuly Lounge at 6pm instead at 4pm. Not many people so was standing at a corner like a statue most of the time. 9 plus was called over to Greenhouse to help out to turnover for breakfast operations. My colleague, Hairong, gave me a bowl of choco and strawberry ice cream, red choco, a small plate of roasted duck meat and lamb rib and some grapes. So nice of him, jus like a big brother doting on a small sister. Den back to Chihuly till 230am. Cup noodles and vodka wid redbull as supper after work while waiting for bus transport(which is 330am) at the same time. Reached home at 4 plus. Was thinking to use lappy but I fell aslp.

Afternoon shift. Help out over at the mooncake side. Pack the mooncakes in the box and folded mooncake boxes. One of the staffs treated me to a small piece of Greentea mooncake. Ate durian and double eggyolk mooncakes after work. Its super duper nice:) Hairong dun like the durian smell and my colleagues are so naughty. One of them grabbed him from behind and the other forced open his hands cos he was covering his mouth and let him smell. So hilarious. All of us were laughing and laughing non stop.

Off day. Had lunch wid the whole family. Overnight at Serene's house wid meiteng, audric, zhi cong, yong quan, xiao ai and soon guan. Watched The Exorcist and some funny videos on youtube. Mac wid meiteng and serene at 6am.

Its amazing how time flies and all of us have grown a lot over the years. Its been so long since we gather together and definitely brought us even closer everytime we do so. Last min change of venue from The Timbre to Retrobar as it was fully booked and to book for a table of 20 ppl, its also not easy. Unexpected surprises in a night sure made a memorable birthday for Serene. We had a great time catching up, drinking(mostly the guys), photo-taking and stuffs. Some of us stayed overnight at Serene's house. I rmb the times when I would pop over to Serene's house wid Kelvin after school(sometimes) to watch tv and chat or Kelvin's house where he would whip up a delicious meal for us. Yeah, memories which I hold dearly in my heart.
